MANO KHALIL
Regisseur, Produzent & Drehbuchautor
Mano Khalil ist im kurdischen Teil Syriens geboren. An der Universität Damaskus hat er Recht und Geschichte studiert. Von 1987 bis 1994 belegte er an der Film- und Fernsehakademie (Vysokà škola mùzickych umenì- filmova a Televizna fakulta) der ehemaligen Tschechoslowakei die Fachklasse Spielfilmregie. In der Folge war er bis 1995 freier Mitarbeiter sowohl beim tschechoslowakischen als auch dem slowakischen Fernsehen. Seit 1996 lebt er in der Schweiz, wo er als Regisseur, Drehbuchautor und Produzent verschiedene Dokumentar-, Kurz und Langspielfilme arbeitet.
